What we collect
Foco+ doesn't collect identifiable personal data. There's no account signup, and we don't ask for your name, email, IP address, or location.
We collect two categories of data, always anonymous and never linked to your identity:
- Crash reports — via Firebase Crashlytics (Google) and App Store Connect Analytics (Apple).
- Feature usage — via Firebase Analytics (Google), without Advertising ID (IDFA) support. We only log which screens you visit and categorical actions (e.g. "task completed", "Pomodoro started") — never the content you create (titles, text, attachments).
None of this data is linked to your identity or used for cross-app tracking, as declared in the privacy manifest Apple itself validates on the App Store.
How we use this information
We use it to identify and fix technical issues, understand which features get used most (to prioritize what to improve), and measure, in aggregate and anonymously, how our Google Ads promotional campaigns perform (for example, how many installs came from an ad). No personal information or content you create ever enters this process.
Where your data lives
All the data you create in the app — tasks, ideas, reminders, events, and progress — is stored locally on your device using iOS's SwiftData. We never send this data to external servers.
Third-party services
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for the purposes above, plus Apple's own aggregated reports (App Store Connect Analytics). We don't collect an Advertising ID (IDFA) and don't use ad SDKs or third-party trackers to show ads inside the app. In-app purchases (Foco+ Pro) are processed entirely by Apple — we have no access to your payment data.
Ads
Foco+ doesn't show ads and doesn't sell or share your data with advertising networks for monetization. Since we promote Foco+ itself on Google Ads, aggregate and anonymous conversion signals (for example, "an install happened") may be sent to Google to measure how those campaigns perform — never linked to your identity or your activity inside the app.
Data retention
We don't store usage logs on our own servers — we don't have one. Aggregated crash and usage reports are kept by Apple and by Google (Firebase), per each company's own retention policy.
Your rights
Since we don't collect identifiable personal data, there's no personal information of yours to access, correct, delete, or port. If this changes in the future, we'll update this policy and provide appropriate mechanisms to exercise those rights.
Minors
Foco+ doesn't collect data from any user, regardless of age. The app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+ on the App Store).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will always be updated when that happens.
